For my podcast it was a very specific niche. The subject is anime, and more specifically Naruto. The first thing I did was to start building a community before I even started. we have a facebook fan page and a deviantart group page up two weeks before we even started recording. We had a twitter account up one week before we began recording. And by the third episode we had our website up and running, but with very minimal success. as of right now we have over 1,000 subscribers to our podcast feed and over 26,000 hits. Our YouTube channel has been viewed over 1,700 times and our videos have been watched more than 4,254 times. Our YouTube account is fairly new. we started in on July 6th and we began posting all of our episodes from 01 to current on our channel. We keep all of our special episodes available only on our feed as an incentive to join or rather a reward for our feed subscribers. Though we are considering doing the same on youtube but only for those who subscribe to our channel.
